Abstract
The transcription factor ΔNp63 plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity of stratified epithelial tissues as well as in regulating the pathogenesis of squamous cell carcinoma (SCC). The general aim of our research line is to deeply investigate the transcriptional routes orchestrated by ∆Np63 in physiological and pathological conditions. Here, I will present recently published and unpublished data characterizing the long non-coding RNA NEAT1 and the member of the ABC transporter family ABCC1 as novel ∆Np63 effectors controlling skin differentiation and tumor immune landscape, respectively.
