Present and Future of MIA-LAB: The microbiota-immunity axis on human diseases
Abstract
Experimental approaches to evaluate the Microbiome-Immunity axis in human diseases focusing on 1) the characterization of composition and function of microbiome, and 2) the local and systemic definition of molecular and cellular immunological profile. Presentation of results of on-going and previous funded projects regarding cancer, autoimmunity, neurodegenerative diseases. Finally overview regarding the studies focusing on the impact of micro/nanoplastics in human health
