Main Topics
The laboratory focuses on the development and application of advanced technologies for preclinical morpho-functional imaging in animal models, with particular emphasis on neuroscience, oncology, and pharmacokinetics. Activities include the use of multimodal techniques such as CT, SPECT, and Optical Imaging (fluorescence and bioluminescence) through high-resolution integrated systems (MILabs OI/CT).

The lab supports translational research projects within the EMMA/INFRAFRONTIER international infrastructure, managing all imaging phases: acquisition, processing, 3D reconstruction, and data analysis. The team’s expertise includes the development and validation of new experimental protocols and imaging technologies for in vivo diagnostics, as well as collaboration with biological and medical research groups.
